The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), the nation’s largest Muslim civil rights and advocacy organization, and the political organization CAIR Action, a 501(c)4 affiliate of CAIR, today called on the Democratic National Council (DNC) to release its 2024 election report, including their findings on how the Gaza genocide impacted the election.
Axios reported that top Democratic officials who worked on the party’s still-secret autopsy of the 2024 election concluded that Vice President Kamala Harris lost significant support because of the Biden administration’s approach to the genocide in Gaza.

In a statement, CAIR and CAIR Action said:
“We call on the Democratic National Committee to release its secret report analyzing the causes of the 2024 election result.
“Elected officials across the country have the right to understand the extent to which President Biden’s steadfast support for funding the Gaza genocide and Vice President Harris’ opposition to suspending military aid to Israel impacted the 2024 election.
“Just as many young people and other traditional Democratic voters turned on Lyndon Johnson and his vice president in 1968 because of the Vietnam War, it was widely known and entirely predictable that a significant number of Democratic voters would hesitate to support President Biden and then his vice president in 2024 over the Gaza genocide.
“The DNC should fully and transparently share its findings and conclusions about the 2024 election with the American public.”
